Line Leader, Production Environment, €18.75 per hour, D12

Position Summary:

Our client, a technology driven company that designs, engineers, and manufactures large scale cooling and modular data center solutions, are looking for a Line Leader to join their team in Dublin 12.

The Line Leader will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating production activities within the assigned process area. The role involves leading a team of operators and technicians to ensure efficient, safe, and quality-driven production processes. This position plays a key role in continuous improvement initiatives, troubleshooting production issues, and driving team performance to meet production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production operators and technicians.
• Assign tasks and monitor progress to ensure production goals are met.
• Provide regular feedback and performance evaluations for team members.
• Foster a positive work environment focused on teamwork, safety, and accountability.
• Oversee daily production activities to ensure smooth workflow and efficiency.
• Monitor equipment and machinery, coordinating maintenance and troubleshooting when necessary.
• Ensure all production processes are aligned with company standards, work instructions, and operating procedures.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams to minimize production downtime and bottlenecks.
• Promote and enforce a safety-first culture within the team, ensuring adherence to safety policies and protocols.
• Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Investigate safety incidents, implement corrective actions, and participate in safety training programs.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and environmental standards.
• Ensure production processes meet or exceed quality standards and specifications.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to streamline processes, reduce waste, and improve output.
• Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving activities related to process defects or inefficiencies.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of production performance, downtime, and any deviations from the production plan.
• Communicate regularly with management and other departments to ensure alignment on production schedules and goals.
• Participate in daily production meetings to provide updates and discuss any issues or improvements.
• Train new team members on production processes, machinery, safety practices, and quality standards.

Skills and Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in a production environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong understanding of production processes, machinery, and equipment.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a production team.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Days/Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday, 730am to 4pm (candidates need to have flexibility on days and hours of work to align with production requirements).

Hourly Rate of Pay:

€18.75 per hour
